Tesla's newer Autopilot computer (HW4) is required for the next-generation Full Self-Driving stack, and you cannot tell it from the model year. We confirm it for every car from Tesla's AP_HARDWARE_VERSION record:
- 524 (28%) are confirmed HW4
- 1,327 (72%) are confirmed HW3
- 0 Tesla doesn't expose the field for (verify on the car's screen)
